Another blog
It’s about time we introduced you to our other blog.
This is a research blog, about the twentieth century history of the New South Wales Government Printing Office - focusing on the period 1959 to 1989 (the years that the Printing Office was based in a building in Ultimo).
The blog uses tumblr tags to organise archival images, in order to arrange a vast amount of visual data into something vaguely useful and dynamic.
It’s very much a work in progress (but the trick is to balance the blogging with the actual hard yakka of research and writing).
Lately both blogs - Penultimo and this image research blog - have been a little ignored, and we’ve been focusing on writing, reading and having breakfast … but soon enough, both Penultimo and the research blog will soon be updated with goodies.
