Lush Bucket’s New Digs
This morning Lush Bucket opened up in their new premises - right next door to their old shop on Harris Street.
Lush are now housed in the old Tetley’s Ice Works building. The place looks warm and accommodating (functional and Freedom-furniture-like, rather than hipster, if you know what we mean). They have a delicious selection of cakes, slices and brownies, and rather a lot of red lampshades. We give them credit for creating a seating space that looks warm and is away from the noisy, windy street.
Their coffee is from Campos, and we give it about a 5/10 - it’s strong and earthy, but tastes a little burnt.
