Ultimo photography on exhibition

Tonight is a big night for Ultimo - the Ultimo Pyrmont Photography Project is holding an exhibition, “Our Neighbourhoods, Our Friends”.

The exhibition opening is tonight from 6 to 8pm, at the Harris Community Centre, Quarry Green, Ultimo. Photographs will also be exhibited at the Wentworth Park Games on Sunday 16 October, and at the Powerhouse, the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, the Pyrmont Bendigo Bank, the Ultimo Community Centre & the Pyrmont Community Centre.

The photographs are all taken by Ultimo & Pyrmont residents (but the Ultimo ones are better). Unlike Penultimo’s often-distanced, architectural view, these photographs really capture the people in these communities.
